My experience includes editorial direction and project management, as well as writing, design, and creative development for digital projects of many kinds: websites, videos, interactive features, blogs, email messaging.

>Through a series of web videos, HIV Big Deal aims to motivate gay men to get tested for HIV and to have safer sex. I designed the website and graphics for the project, and wrote and edited copy for the web and press. HIV Big Deal is a project of Public Health Solutions of New York City.
Amnesty International's three-year Imagine Campaign was a public education effort inspired by the John Lennon song. I designed the website and oversaw content development, writing copy for both the website and interactive features. Assets included a Flash-based introduction to the work of Amnesty International and a series of web “postcards” about human rights issues.
Created for Physicians for Human Rights, this interactive piece tells the story of entire communities uprooted in Darfur, Sudan. I wrote the script, designed the interface, and worked with a Flash developer to create it.
After producing this promotional video for the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, I produced four more videos for the college: on its 75th anniversary, scholarship recipients, and two summer workshops.
I managed the design and implementation of a new website for Physicians for Human Rights. It was a ground-up undertaking that included evaluating vendors and working with staff to prepare for technological changes that impacted the work of the organization.
On a periodic basis, I assist the Committee to Protect Journalists with publishing their reports online. This entails preparing content in multiple languages and creating page layouts, graphics, and statistical charts.
I designed and produced the website for the (sadly) short-lived skating rink at the American Museum of Natural History.
I edited two short documentary videos for artist Robyn Love, whose work combines handwork (knitting, crochet, spinning) and community involvement.
I spent a year as a designer/illustrator for the children's website, MaMaMedia.com, designing interfaces for activities and creating characters and animations.
